Grandpa's WatchPosted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 5 April 2008 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio. My grandfather's pocket watch, ironically stopped, close to the hour that David died, two weeks ago. What a wonderful blessing it is to know that they are together at last. Genesis 28:12 ---~--- Philippians 4:13 'We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.' ... <*}}}>< Your comments are so appreciated and I apologize for not having time to get to all of your posts.

Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanThis is quite a story! And it gives me an eerie feeling......... How did you happen to check on this watch? 5 Apr 2008 8:42am @Japanalia: *Smile* ... The watch hangs on that little hook, under a glass dome, but I just realized where its hands were. Also, I decided my friends needed a 'break' from the family photos, although there are four more in the queue. @Lorraine: Yes, sweet lady ... it is. @Betty: Yes, Betty, it truly is. Chris from South Jersey, United StatesOur days are indeed numbered here on earth. Keep your eyes on God and your thoughts on happy times, and He will continue to take care of you.... 5 Apr 2008 11:58am @Chris: Thank you, Chris ... what on 'earth' would we do without God's help? Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaThe first thing that popped into my head Judy was that God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. I really think that this is a sign from God that David is OK and resting in His arms. 5 Apr 2008 12:06pm @Marion: Dear Marion, I figured it was time I move my thoughts away from my grief, so I looked at some of my archived photos and up this POPPED. We know David is just fine and wanting us to heal...what a blessing that is. Thank you, God! Love, Judy tyan from Singapore, Singaporehello dear Judy,i am sorry i am not good with words. But i couldn't help tearing and feel your grief. You are in my thoughts and prayers.I read a mother's words when her 18 month old daughter died suddenly, 'They say that, given time, you come to terms with it. I am not sure if that is true. I think that you learn to exist in a new world: a parallel universe where you're unfamiliar with the laws or the language. My husband and I will never come to terms with losing Daisy; we are simply inhabiting that new world and slowly learning the rules all over again...' I pray that you and family will slowly but surely heal. Love,Tyan 5 Apr 2008 4:31pm @tyan: First, Tyan, you are very good with words. It's a good thing I don't have to speak Chinese!!! Every mother/parent is concerned with the welfare of their children and pray no harm will come to them. @Sidonie: Thank you, Sidonie....... |
