Dark Clouds PaintingPosted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 19 January 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio. This photo was 'watercolored' and then 'texturized'. I don't know how this will look once it's compressed. Let me know what you think. ---~--- Philippians 4:13 'We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.' ... <*}}}>< Your comments are so appreciated and I apologize for not having time to get to all of your posts.

Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaI love it, I find that processing is sometimes the best way to show a photo the way you saw it...the camera itself, no matter how good, doesn't always do it....Great finish Judy!!! 19 Jan 2008 12:06pm @Lorraine: The original photo looked somewhat 'flat' and you're right, Lorraine; the processing did bring out the details I saw. Chris from South Jersey, United StatesI like the processing here - not too much but enough to enhance the already good photo you had taken (composition, lighting, and colors). Very nice image... 19 Jan 2008 1:14pm @Chris: Thank you, Chris ... the clouds were to the south and didn't last long as they were blown even father away. Barbara from Florida, United StatesI find it a very impressive photo, Judy. I agree with the comments by Lorraine and Chris. The processing enhanced the photo nicely. I like the how you framed in the trees. It is an excellent photo. I could see it as a matted and framed image. Very nice. 19 Jan 2008 2:38pm @Barbara: Barb, you've read my mind; this is one that I think I will have printed, matted and framed. Thanks for your 'applause'. Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanI believe you enhanced the dramatic feature of the shot! I like it!!!Well done! 19 Jan 2008 3:50pm @Japanalia: Yes, I used a watercolor filter and then added a bit of texture. Glad you like it! Marion Headrick from CanadaI love it Judy. You enhanced this picture beautifully. I can see it hanging on a wall that is for sure. 20 Jan 2008 2:10am @Marion Headrick: Thanks, Marion ..... I really like it also! |
