Behind the porch railing...

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 10 January 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Our Hibiscus was covered during the two cold nights and the flowers toward the house survived, in spite of the front taking a 'hit' from the frost. Fortunately here in Florida, it will recover and come back!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits.

Glad to hear that the hibiscus is fine! My Pet Hibiscus is hibernating, making lots of leaves and growing, but no flowers!

@Japanalia: Well, this was on the house side of the plant; the street side is more than "hibernating" but it will come back!

You framed this well Judy. I love the combination of colors. It appears healthy after such a cold that hit. Very nice.

@Barbara: The house side of the plant did well; the street side suffered, but as we know, it will come back!
