Late December Sweet Gum

Some of our Florida trees are deciduous, but late to lose their leaves. Some of these won't drop for another month or so.

But.....they turned colour and the effect against that wonderful sky is delightful!

@Japanalia: Yes, there are some reds and golds in among the many brown leaves. That beautiful sky is this morning gray and wet; God knows how badly we need rain!
