One split second in time...

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 19 November 2007 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

I marvel at the beauty of a butterfly, however, it seems they constantly flit from flower to flower. This one finally lit on a Bougainvillea blossom for probably one second and I was able to capture it.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits.

A wonderful effect with the blurr and a butterfly that looks like a brooch! My bougainvillea is hibernating, I brought it inside the room and was told it should not be watered till spring. How lucky you are over there to have no winter!!!

@Japanalia: Well, there are consequences for having "no winter." We don't have the contrasting foliage that other parts of the world do. The blessing ... is no freezing weather. *smile*
