After reading Robert's comment on yesterday's photo, I couldn't have agreed with him more whole-heartedly, so here is another image taken the same day with the subject off-center, which makes for a much better photograph. Thank you, Robert!

I agree the off center makes a better composition. But I still like both shots.

I agree with both Barb and Robert; both images are very good and maybe for different reasons. I like yesterday's because it shows pole and background. Today's because it is off center; both because of the shadows and lighting and texture.
