Waiting to enter...

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 21 November 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Bride and Dad, as they wait to enter the chapel for her wedding ceremony.
This was 'grabbed' through the car window, hence the reflection. :(

What an absolutely beautiful moment captured! Well done

@Magda: Sadly, we were in the van looking into the sun, so there is a reflection on the glass, but we couldn't stop where we were and I feared I'd lose my chance, so took it.

Mhélène from Paris, France

@Mhélène: Thank you, Marie, in spite of the reflection on the van's window, it was fun to shoot.

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canada

A delicious shot. I love the moment that you have captured. The bright pink edging on her gown matches her Dad's pocket hankie. A delightful moment, entering into a new life.

@Marion: To the naked eye it looked red, but here it looks more pink. Tomorrow you'll see a long shot from where we could park the van.
